As a QA / Manual Tester, you’ll collaborate closely with our development and product teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications. Your responsibilities will include:
Technical Skills
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and web technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Other Skills
- Designing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and issues.
- Participating in requirement analysis and providing feedback on testability.
- Assisting in regression and exploratory testing efforts.
- Maintaining test documentation and reporting on test progress.
Backend & Frontend Exposure
While this is a manual testing role, you’ll gain exposure to both frontend and backend aspects of our applications:
- Frontend: Testing user interfaces for usability and consistency.
- Backend: Validating APIs, databases, and server-side functionalities.
Requirements
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote (WFH)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 0–1 year of experience in software testing (internships or academic projects are a plus).
