Project Overview: EduMarket is a multi-vendor marketplace platform designed for the education sector, enabling schools, vendors, and parents to manage and purchase educational products through a unified digital ecosystem. The platform includes vendor management, an e-commerce marketplace, a dedicated parents’ portal, shopping cart functionality, and comprehensive administrative controls.
Key Responsibility : As Team Lead, I was responsible for leading a team of five developers and overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. I collaborated closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions. My role involved designing and implementing key marketplace functionalities using Odoo and Python, managing multi-vendor workflows, product catalogs, and order processing systems, and developing the Parents Corner module with integrated e-commerce features. I also supervised AWS-based deployment and infrastructure management, conducted code reviews, planned and assigned development tasks, mentored team members, and ensured the platform met high standards of performance, security, scalability, and timely delivery.

My role involved developing business logic using Python, customizing Odoo functionalities based on business requirements, optimizing application performance, and supporting deployment and maintenance activities on AWS. I collaborated closely with stakeholders to ensure the module provided accurate tracking, improved visibility into publicity efforts, and streamlined advertisement management processes.

My responsibilities included developing and maintaining Python-based business logic, optimizing system performance, integrating various modules, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting deployment activities on AWS. I also worked closely with stakeholders and team members to ensure the solution aligned with business requirements and delivered a seamless user experience.
